Greek Yogurt with Raspberries and Nuts

I love this simple, healthy and wholesome breakfast—it’s one of my favorites! It tastes a little tart but ends up being savory with the nuts. While I’m sharing this as a breakfast recipe, you can really eat it at any time of the day. It is full of healthy fat, protein, and nutrient-dense complex carbohydrates.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of whole-fat Greek yogurt. (Local yogurt is my favorite!)

  • 1/4 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries (or as many as you can fit in your bowl!)

  • 1 Tablespoon of chopped walnuts

  • 1 Tablespoon of chopped almonds

  • 1 Tablespoon of pumpkin seeds

  • For extra sweetness, you can add 1 chopped date. (You can also drizzle honey on top! I don’t due to the high sugar content, but if the honey helps you eat this healthy meal and avoid packaged yogurts, go for it!)

Directions:

  1. Place the yogurt in your favorite breakfast bowl.

  2. Add the raspberries!

  3. Add the walnuts, almonds, and pumpkin seeds.

  4. Add the date! If using honey, drizzle that on now.

  5. Grab a spoon, and enjoy!
