Greek Yogurt with Raspberries and Nuts
I love this simple, healthy and wholesome breakfast—it’s one of my favorites! It tastes a little tart but ends up being savory with the nuts. While I’m sharing this as a breakfast recipe, you can really eat it at any time of the day. It is full of healthy fat, protein, and nutrient-dense complex carbohydrates.
Ingredients:
1 cup of whole-fat Greek yogurt. (Local yogurt is my favorite!)
1/4 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries (or as many as you can fit in your bowl!)
1 Tablespoon of chopped walnuts
1 Tablespoon of chopped almonds
1 Tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
For extra sweetness, you can add 1 chopped date. (You can also drizzle honey on top! I don’t due to the high sugar content, but if the honey helps you eat this healthy meal and avoid packaged yogurts, go for it!)
Directions:
Place the yogurt in your favorite breakfast bowl.
Add the raspberries!
Add the walnuts, almonds, and pumpkin seeds.
Add the date! If using honey, drizzle that on now.
Grab a spoon, and enjoy!
